My research interests include learning theories, teaching strategies, complexity science, interdisciplinary theorizing, socio-material learning theory, interprofessional health teamwork and action research. These wide-ranging interests emerged from a diverse (even confusing) background, which includes degrees in philosophy, law and education; practical experience in small business and educational software development; and finally, the wonderful opportunity of interviewing nearly 1,000 people from different occupational areas. I welcome the opportunity to collaborate with --and learn from-- grad students and colleagues from education and other disciplines.
