Built at a cost of $26 million and completed in 1993, D鈥橧orio Hall is home to the Departments of and . The building holds about 66,000 square feet of state-of-the-art research laboratories and classrooms.
It was named after distinguished scientist Dr. Antoine D鈥橧orio, who was Rector from 1984 to 1990. During his 29-year association with the university, Dr. D鈥橧orio was professor and Chairman of Biochemistry, Secretary and Vice-Dean of , Dean of and , and Vice-Rector (Academic).
