Portrait de Nadine Ltaif
Nadine Ltaif

Chant des cr茅atures

The Lebanese-Quebecoise poet's writing, rooted as much in Middle Eastern culture as in Quebec, questions exile and the wandering and nostalgia that go with it. The content and form of her compositions celebrate the cultural melting pot that she sees as a source of richness. The author has published a dozen collections of poetry with 脡ditions de Noro卯t, including Entre les fleuves (1991), which was a finalist for the Prix 脡mile-Nelligan. A feminist committed to life-saving poetry, her latest work, Chant des cr茅atures (2024), looks back on a human tragedy, the explosion of August 4, 2020 in the port of Beirut, but leaves a glimmer of hope in the salvation that nature brings to broken souls.

In her presentation, which will be given in French, she will discuss her latest collection and retrace her career. The lecture will be followed by a discussion with the audience.

Don't miss this event, which promises to be rich in emotion and reflection!
