Since 1994, the Institute has presented annually the prestigious Charles R. Bronfman Lecture in Canadian Studies.

Since 1994, the Institute has presented annually the prestigious Charles R. Bronfman Lecture in Canadian Studies. This lecture is designed to bring into focus a leading personality who has made a significant contribution to the study of Canada. Over the years, the Bronfman lectures have transitioned towards highlighting the voices of Indigenous Peoples from across Canada, in accordance with the mandate of the IIRS.
