The Department of Theatre has 6 rehearsal studios. Four are located in the new LabO building and two in the Academic Hall building. Please note that spaces in Academic Hall are situated on the 3rd floor without elevator access.
Rental rates are determined by organization type. Organization categories are defined by one or more of the following criteria:
Project-based company
Self-produced projects
Less than 2 permanent employees
Fundraising events
Season or programming
More than 2 permanent employees
Small private companies
Government, governmental agencies and arm鈥檚 length organisations
Film & TV
Private companies of 4 or more employees

A Senior Technician may be required if a) the sound set-up requires four (4) inputs or more or b) the Technical Director determines the client鈥檚 overall technical needs require a Senior Technician rather than a regular Technician.
Genie lift requires the Department Technical Director, at a rate of $40/hour. Genie work may only be undertaken Monday through Friday, 9am-4pm.
A second Technician may be required at the discretion of the Technical Director based on the Client鈥檚 technical requirements.
Use of control consoles (Sound and/or lights) implies the hiring of University technicians.
Any ladder or harness work must be performed by 91精品黑料吃瓜 personnel only, trained in fall arrest.
Strikes must take place the day or evening of the last show. Technicians called for a strike must be paid a minimum call of 4 hours.
The half-day rate may apply only if no set is in the room.
