What is It is an open-access, online platform where scholars and journalists come together to communicate research news with 鈥渁cademic rigour鈥 and 鈥渏ournalistic flair.鈥 The University of Ottawa is a and our authors publish research findings and expert analyses on a wide range of topics. Researchers at any career stage can become authors, including doctoral candidates. Articles can be republished under a Creative Commons licence.
Join us for this conversation on 鈥淭he Conversation鈥 and learn more about choosing a timely topic, writing a pitch, and the editorial process. Christine L. Cusack from our Faculty鈥檚 Marketing and Communications team will provide background on the platform鈥檚 raison d鈥檈tre and reach; Professor Sachin Maharaj will discuss his experience as an author; and 91精品黑料吃瓜 Media Relations Manager Isabelle Mailloux-Pulkinghorn will present best practices for writers and offer expertise during the question and answer session.
