It鈥檚 your responsibility to clear all conditions as soon as possible. Review the conditions outlined in your letter of admission and submit your Documents at the Graduate Studies Office before the registration start date.
Consider this deadline thoughtfully when making arrangements. If you do not fulfil all conditions, your course enrolment will not be permitted.
When every condition of admission has been cleared, an 鈥淎ll Conditions Satisfied鈥 e-mail message will be sent to you.
Note for UOttawa students
If you have ever studied at the University of Ottawa, you are not required to submit an official transcript showing final grades and degree conferral because your record is accessible to us. We will automatically review it when convocation ceremonies are finished.
International document
A certified official document in English or French translated by an accredited Translation Service for all international documentation written in a language other than English or French must be submitted along with a copy of the original document.
Are you waiting for your degree to be granted?
If you鈥檝e completed your program requirements but will not be receiving your degree until after your program begins (e.g. finishing up in the summer and convocation in November), you must arrange to have two documents forwarded to us:
- An official transcript showing all final grades.
- An official statement from your Registrar鈥檚 Office states:
- all degree requirements are complete;
- you are eligible to graduate; and
- expected date on which the degree will be conferred.
How to submit your document?
The official documents must be provided in one of the following formats:鈥

A secure electronic record sent by the issuing institution either directly from their own institutional website or through an authorized/licensed third party provider (such as Credentials Solutions, Parchment)
Submit electronic official transcripts to: [email protected]

A paper record received by the Graduate Studies Office in a sealed envelope, signed/stamped by the issuing institution (it can be sent via you as long as we receive it in the issuing institution鈥檚 sealed envelope).
