Admission requirements

  • Bachelor鈥檚 with honours or major in engineering, computer science or physical science and a minimum admission average of 70% (B)
  • Minimum two years鈥 engineering work experience
  • Two letters of recommendation (to be submitted electronically through our portal)

The graduate diploma in engineering management is currently only offered to Canadian citizens and permanent residents. For international students, we offer an in-person master鈥檚 program.

Program at a glance

Our curriculum has been designed and developed by the Faculty of Engineering and the three-times-accredited Telfer School of Management. The program begins with four compulsory core courses to build your basic competencies:

  • Introduction to Engineering Management
  • Principles of Accounting and Finance
  • Principles of Management and Leadership
  • Project Management

To supplement this core, you must then complete one elective course chosen from six concentrations.
