Biography

Daniel Amyot is a Professor at the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science of the University of Ottawa, which he joined in 2002 after working as a Senior Researcher at Mitel Networks.

He has published more than  in requirements engineering, software engineering, modeling, regulatory compliance and healthcare informatics. From 2002 to 2013, he led the evolution of the  standard as Associate Rapporteur for Requirements Languages 鈥嬧媋t the International Telecommunication Union. He leads the development of the  tool.

He holds a doctorate and a master's degree in computer science from the University of Ottawa (2001 and 1994) and a bachelor's degree in computer science from Universit茅 Laval (1992).

Daniel is also member of the editorial boards of the  and  journals, member of 's international advisory board, steering committee chair of the international  conference (RE), president of the , Senior Member of IEEE, and researcher at the .
