Biography
Matthew Richler completed his Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the University of Toronto in 2016, followed by his Hospital Pharmacy Residency training at the St. Michael鈥檚 Hospital (Toronto). He has been working with the Ottawa Hospital since his arrival in Ottawa in 2017. Matthew鈥檚 primary area of practice is General Internal Medicine at The Ottawa Hospital Civic Campus. Matthew has a passion for pharmacy teaching and mentorship. He serves as a preceptor for pharmacy students and residents in the areas of general internal medicine, research, and, previously, the residency's toxicology consultation service.

Matthew鈥檚 previous research has applied qualitative methodology. Recent studies have aimed to describe patient perceptions of clinical programs at the Ottawa Hospital, patient perceptions of medications and barriers to adherence, and patient health literacy.
