Biography
Dr. Simone Dahrouge is an Associate Professor and a Scientist at the University of Ottawa Department of Family Medicine. She has a cross-appointment with the School of Epidemiology and Public Health, and membership in Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies. She is also an Adjunct Scientist with. She holds a Master's degree in Epidemiology and a PhD in Population Health from the University of Ottawa and a certification as a lead in quality improvement from the University of Ottawa.
Dr. Dahrouge鈥檚 research focuses on the and its effect on quality and equity of care. Her main interest is in understanding how primary care can be organized to optimize the quality and equity of the care delivered. She has developed a social prescribing program, and is working to make this model available to all Canadians. She also established and led the , and is the lead for Innovations and Tailored Models of Care in the Brain Heart Interconnectome (BHI) program. Her areas of expertise include quantitative analyses, family medicine, organizational structure, and equity.
