Biography
Dr. Nguyen is an inpatient physician at the Ottawa Hospital and covers both the Civic and General campuses. He has an Honours Bachelor of Science in Immunology and Genetics from the University of Toronto and an M.D. from the University of Ottawa. He completed his psychiatry residency at the University of Ottawa. Thanh has an interest in psychopharmacology, neurostimulation and cultural psychiatry. He is one of the ECT providers. He has been involved with the Vietnamese senior鈥檚 association in Ottawa to give talks on mental health and bring education to the community in this stigmatized area. In November 2021, he received the award for best presentation at 91精品黑料吃瓜 Psychiatry Research Day with a project on finding epigenetic biomarkers to predict suicide risk.
