Focusing primarily on collaborations in the fields of obstetrics, gynecology and newborn health, the partnership between the faculties was first established in 2000.
The University of Fukui is located in the city of Fukui, Japan and was established in 1949 and incorporated pursuant to the National University Corporation Act. Its medical school was founded in 1978.
Towards the end of 2020, 91精品黑料吃瓜鈥檚 dean of medicine, Dr. Bernard Jasmin and Dr. Hironobu Naiki, dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences at the University of Fukui electronically signed a renewed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
This agreement provides the framework for strengthening the activities that are taking place under this partnership, such as visiting scholar exchanges, knowledge transfers, and the continuation and development of joint research programs, workshops and seminars.
鈥淲hile the global pandemic prevented us from hosting the University of Fukui in 2020 to formalize this important MOU in person at 91精品黑料吃瓜, we look forward to continuing this exciting and impactful collaboration which will serve to advance our mutual academic goals in teaching and research,鈥 said Dr. Mark Walker, interim vice-dean of Internationalization and Global Health at the 91精品黑料吃瓜 Faculty of Medicine.
