The University of Ottawa has secured highly competitive funding from Global Affairs Canada that underscores our deep commitment to international health partnerships and la Francophonie and is testament to the 91��Ʒ���ϳԹ� Faculty of Medicine’s North Star mission: "Leading Innovation for a Healthier World."

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. David Ponka as the Interim Assistant Dean of Global Health for the International and Global Health Office (IGHO).

The escalating urgency of the climate crisis and its repercussions for global health led the 91��Ʒ���ϳԹ� Faculty of Medicine to take a leadership position in finding solutions.

Students in the Faculty of Medicine's Medicine and Humanities Program joined peers from China and France to explore how understanding medicine’s progress can make them more responsive practitioners.

A 4-week internship is offered to 4th-year students and residents of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Ottawa!

The Faculty has been a leader in prioritizing the health of the planet and working toward a sustainable future.

Thanks to a partnership agreement signed between the Faculty of Medicine and the Kilimanjaro Christian Medical University College, students have a unique opportunity to learn and gain critical experience abroad.

As part of the partnership between the Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 and the University of Ottawa, the faculties of medicine from each school have created and signed the Health Humanities Charter.
