The Faculty of Social Sciences is looking back at its participation in the . Our researchers organized, moderated and took part in the various colloquia of the Congress, held on our campus from May 13 to 17, 2024.

, Director of the Research Center on the Future of Cities, and his team led the conference . During the two-day conference, discussions focused on theoretical and empirical perspectives on habitability, the work of nature, bodies, senses and urban geographies.

The aim was to understand urban processes through a variety of disciplines, and to develop a scientific approach thanks to contributions from several researchers. The symposium examined movements, zones and structures to understand the role of urbanization in climate change, and how the relationship between cities and the climate crisis is transforming today's social, economic, legal and political order.

, Director of the Centre on Governance, also contributed to the success of this edition by taking part in over  on various themes linked to the new horizons of democratic governance.
