Startup Garage is a year-round accelerator program for entrepreneurs who want to start and grow their business. Through this program, founders will get access to peer-to-peer networks, mentorship, advisory services, capital, space and resources that will help them take their idea from conception to launch to growth.
Entrepreneurial Mindset Certificate
The Entrepreneurial Mindset Certificate is an opportunity for students to develop a broad range of soft skills and entrepreneurial know-how through a series of hands-on workshops. To qualify, students must complete five workshops from our three learning streams: skills, tools and networking. The certificate is ideal for those interested in improving their career readiness.
Match-Up
The University of Ottawa鈥檚 Entrepreneurship Hub (eHub), through the support of the Experience Ventures program, is looking to match student interns with local companies. These positions provide undergraduate students the opportunity to work with local startups to help solve a specific challenge they are facing. Students will receive an award of $825 upon completion of the program.
Ideas Lab
Are you looking for a rewarding experience that showcases your entrepreneurial skills? Do you want to put your theoretical knowledge into practice? Interdisciplinary teams will be formed on the first day of the event, and each student will receive an award of $325 upon completion of the program. Add your name to the waitlist to be the first to know when the program launches. This program is open to undergraduate students from all faculties.
Solutions Lab
Are you looking for a rewarding experience that showcases your entrepreneurial skills? Join the Solutions Lab to develop a business idea which will help solve a problem facing our community (topic to be determined). You can come with an idea or join a team with an existing idea! The teams will be formed on the first day of the program, and each participant will receive an award of $525 upon completion. The Crunch
Designed to inspire purposeful collisions, The Crunch is ignited by Algonquin College, Carleton University, and the University of Ottawa. Individuals can join solo or in a group to address challenges and gaps within any industry, including categories such as health innovation, social impact, and emerging technologies.
