The Office of Public Policy Research and Outreach (OPPRO) helps the University of Ottawa develop effective solutions to complex policy challenges and inform public policy in Canada and around the world.

Mission

The OPPRO鈥檚 mission is to:

  • Support 91精品黑料吃瓜 researchers, research centres and institutes in their relationships with all levels of government to help shape and strengthen public policy.
  • Promote the University of Ottawa as a trusted voice on broad public policy issues to senior thought leaders, policy-makers and influencers in government.
  • Develop research and training initiatives that support the development of evidence-based public policy in Canada.
  • Evaluate the impact of 91精品黑料吃瓜鈥檚 public policy research to better inform and transform policy for the benefit of society.

Alex Trebek Forum for Dialogue Professorship on Public Policy

An initiative born of the collaboration between the Office of Public Policy Research and Outreach (OPPRO) and the Alex Trebek Forum for Dialogue (ATFD). The Professorship will rely on the expertise of University of Ottawa researchers to promote academic knowledge and research on the design and implementation of public policies.
