The School of Engineering Design and Teaching Innovation brings engineering design, multidisciplinary education, experiential learning and professional skills development to both our undergraduate and graduate students in all programs at the faculty.

About the school

The School of Engineering Design and Teaching Innovation (SEDTI) is redefining the engineering learning experience at the Faculty of Engineering. With an approach adapted to the realities of the 21st century, our mission is to train the next generation of change makers.

Experiential learning

Bridging the gap between theory and practice is essential in training the future generation of engineers. Building on existing programs under the Centre for Entrepreneurship and Engineering Design, SEDTI provides experiential learning opportunities to every engineering program, so that thousands of students each year get to experience collaborative projects with industry and within multidisciplinary teams.
